EVILE Confirms Main Support Bands For U.K. Tour

January 7, 2011

British thrashers EVILE have confirmed the main support bands for their upcoming U.K. tour, which kicks off on February 9 in Manchester. Joining EVILE on the road will be fellow British thrashers ELIMINATION and MUTANT. Each show of the tour will also see one extra lucky band opening the show, as chosen by EVILE themselves and the readers of Metal Hammer magazine.

The competition to enter your band for one of the shows has now closed and EVILE are in the process of choosing the best three bands for each city. The readers of Metal Hammer online will then get the chance to vote for which bands get to support EVILE at each show.

To find out which bands made the shortlist, head to the Metal Hammer web site on Thursday, January 13.

The dates are as follows:

Feb. 09 - Manchester, UK - Academy 3
Feb. 10 - Newcastle, UK - Academy
Feb. 11 - Glasgow, UK - Cathouse
Feb. 12 - Nottingham, UK - Rescue Rooms
Feb. 13 - London, UK - Underworld

EVILE's 2009 album, "Infected Nations", was recently re-released as a special redux version. The redux includes a bonus disc featuring EVILE's popular cover of PANTERA's "Cemetery Gates", as well as eight songs recorded at a live rehearsal in the studio and six songs recorded live at Hammerfest in 2009. The European version also includes a free "Infected Nations" album cover woven patch and an EVILE sticker sheet.
